Haddenham Beer Festival (NON CAMRA)
Summer is upon us, so here’s a timely reminder of an essential “not to be missed” diary date! The famous ‘Summerfest’ Beer Festival – one of the UK’s largest one-day beer festivals – will be taking place in Haddenham, Bucks on Saturday 1st July 2017. All the familiar attractions will feature once again, from fantastic food and drink offerings to a wonderful line up of live bands. Beer lovers will appreciate that over 140 barrels of real ale will be on offer, including plenty from local microbreweries as well as nationwide favourites; also, craft beers and lagers, plus over 30 novel and traditional ciders will be on tap. And if you're not into beer or cider then come and try a wonderful cocktail or select from a range of punches, Pimms, Prosecco or wine – there’ll be plenty to choose from. Plus, of course, an impressive range of non-alcoholic refreshments for everyone to enjoy. There’ll also be an amazing line-up of live bands playing throughout the day, of course – from 12.00 noon right through to 8.00pm when we close (with final visitor entry at 6.00pm). Visitors can also select from a massive variety of food choices, providing al fresco dining to delight every palate. And with lots of activities for children too, this all adds up to a truly wonderful family-friendly event - ask anyone who came last year! Our huge marquees provide safe options for all the styles of British weather but we've booked a lovely sunny day anyway. The event takes place in the grounds of Haddenham Junior School, Woodways, Haddenham HP17 8DS, and getting there is easy: the Arriva Sapphire 280 (Aylesbury to Thame, Wheatley & Oxford) bus service stops right outside the venue; and Haddenham & Thame Parkway is a short walk away, offering rail access via Chiltern Railways' Marylebone to Birmingham route. Tickets can be purchased online well in advance, with very attractive discounts for group purchases: so for all the news and updates, and to purchase tickets online, visit: www.summerfest.org.uk The Haddenham Beer Festivals are organised by a charitable Trust which aims to deliver a truly great day out while also raising money for good causes in local towns and villages. So come and join the party!
