TOUR TO MECHELEN

FRIDAY 27TH MARCH 2009
On departing our final pick-up point at 07.30, we will then make our way to Folkestone for our 10.50 train to Calais. On departing Calais, we will continue our journey to Mechelen, arriving at approx 15.00, for our stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel. We will spend the afternoon and evening settling in the hotel and exploring Mechelen with dinner etc. under own arrangements.
SATURDAY 28TH MARCH 2009
After a leisurely breakfast we will depart for Antwerp. It is the second largest harbour of Europe (after Rotterdam). Moreover, Antwerp is a splendid city with numerous architectural highlights, and famous for its diamonds. We will visit the Brewery De Koninck where we will meet our guide for a tour of the brewery followed by a beer tasting session. There will then be free time to explore Antwerp before returning to the hotel early evening for dinner etc. under own arrangements.
SUNDAY 29TH MARCH 2009
After breakfast we will make our way to Bruges where we will have some free time for lunch before making our way to Adenkirke, where we will have a 30 minutes max stop, to purchase cheap cigarettes/beer/chocolates etc). We then continue on to Calais in time to board the 16.50 train to Folkestone. We will continue our journey to Milton Keynes and Northampton arriving at approximately 18.30.
